Without nature, what can man do?

The film director returns to Niger, to his home village of Garagoumsa, where he meets his childhood friend Mahaman Lawali, who cultivates the land so as not to eat the sand. Lawali’s simple life and that of his family are marked by the times of millet cultivation. Against the mining exploitation of his land, Lawali works hard to get his children to study.
