My school, my family, my village – WE WORLD
It looks like a normal school day when the students of the Pou Loung primary school of Mondulkiri find on their desks something new: handy cameras. What to do with them? The young girls and boys are encouraged to wonder about their village, their identity, their traditions, the forest and its animals. Looking for answers, they interview their Bounong community, the elderlies, the chief of the village, the waterfall photographer, their family members…How do they picture their future? What’s the importance of education for the children of Pou Loung?
Partecipatory video written, drawn and filmed by children on grade 4, 5 and 6 of Mondulkiry Schools in Cambodia. A short movies narrations about their communities and lives.
