Eh Poutong is a fighter of Pradal Serey, he was born in 1975 under the regime of Pol Pot and his story is a common one. Like all keilakors he moves to the capital city to fight so that he will be able to send his family the $15-20 he has earned in the boxing ring. He cannot afford to lose as the losers are only compensated with food and beverages. Opponent after opponent he becomes world champion, he only lost two matches in his life and soon he became a star in action films in the most profitable film industry. Despite his sporting success and acting career he now lives in one of the many slums in Phnom Penh looking for new students to pass on this ancient martial art. Cambodia is trying to commercialise this sport, however having the status of a fourth world country it has a lack financial funds.
